Showbuddy switchover

Post by Brother Believe Me »

Hey all,

My old DMXis blue box finally went out on me. I have already purchased show buddy active (with video). For the past decade I have used showbuddy to trigger the light cues with the click/backing tracks that my band uses. As I begin this transition to the new software and hardware. I’d like to ask anyone who has already done this…is there anything I need to be aware of?

Also, we have plans to add video screens (televisions) to the stage show. Any ideas on the easiest way to get the signal to 2 or more televisions from a laptop?

Thanks in advance!

Take video out of your laptop (via a USB-C, HDMI or DisplayPort connector) into a 1-2 HDMI splitter, then connect the splitter outputs to your two TVs or projectors.
