Additive/override modes and momentary/toggle for performance pads

Post by MF_Kitten »

For my live show programming I am mainly doing "effects" lights, so strobes and flashes etc.

One thing I would ove to see is a way to make the different performance pads act more like a drum pad setup. If I can load up different colored lights and strobe hits and flashes on the pads, where each pad might just be one or two fixtures at a time, this would let me program the whole show with that one set of effects.

I have been informed that the mask feature can be used to trigger different fixtures or groups separately. What's missing for me is the momentary feature, where the cue is only active while the MIDI note is held, and it turns back off when the MIDI note is released.

I only have a handful of fixtures for my band, and the plan is to do some strobe hits and pulsing lights stuff, but extremely closely synced to the music. If the performance "pads" are all in "toggle" mode, I need to always add the "off" for each pad.
