bpm

Post by zorpiedoman »

The bpm does not seem particularly accurate. I made a cuelist with two cues each set with no fade in, no fade out and a half second hold time. the result is not exactly 120 bpm... any thoughts?

1 second in the cuelist editor always equals 1 musical beat. In other words, if you change the Show Control speed slider to a tempo other than 120bpm, the cuelist will speed up or slow down to sync to the new bpm.

For example, this cuelist will change cue exactly on the beat, at whatever tempo is set in Show Control:

Timing should be absolutely accurate. If you continue to have issues, send a copy of your project file to me (dave@db-audioware.com) and I'll take a look.

I was trying to set the bpm by doing the math and changing the duration of the hold.... I didn't want the person running the show in production to have to tap the beat during the performance. Is there any other way to do this?
