DMXIS Discontinued?

I am trying to find out the status of DMXIS software and Hardware. I use DMXIS as a plugin with Digital Performer and the DMXIS USB Converter Hardware. I have read that these are discontinued, is this true?

1. If so can I import my patch’s into Show buddy?
2. Will it work with my existing converter?
3. What will the new compatible hardware be?
4. Will the new software work with digital performer 11 and OSX Monterey?

ENTTEC are no longer manufacturing DMXIS hardware. I am continuing to provide essential software support, but the DMXIS software is unlikely to evolve much further.

I am now focusing on the development of Show Buddy Active

Yes, you can import existing DMXIS show data into Show Buddy Active.

2. Will it work with my existing converter?
3. What will the new compatible hardware be?

You can transmit one universe (512 channels) to a USB interface. Your existing DMXIS USB box will work fine, as will any ENTTEC USB Pro compatible box.

To transmit multiple universes, you'll need an ArtNet-to-DMX box such as this from Sweetwater or this from Thomann.

The ArtNet network protocol is generally more robust than any USB interface box.

4. Will the new software work with digital performer 11 and OSX Monterey?

Yes.
