"Fade to Next" auto learns in when opening Ableton Live

Running: DMXIS1.7.0 with Ableton Live 10 Standard on MAC OS Catalina 10.15.7
When I open up an Ableton Live session with DMXIS, the "Fade To Next" fader is always learned to a midi-note. If I don't select "forget" and play a track with midi controlled lights, the "Fade To Next" starts screwing up all my presets and changing the fade to next value (which I always want kept at 0). How do I make it to where the fade to next fader is never assigned to a midi-note and why does it automatically learn itself to a note every time I open up the program within Ableton Live? This happens even if I save the file with no midi notes assigned to the DMXIS program.
