Purchased through sweetwater recently but wanted to see if I should check here first for assistance.
Having problems with installing Showbuddy 1.6.1 error 1005 states I should "Please re-install Show Buddy and restart"
Fresh install of Windows 10 Version 1909 - OS Build 18363.1082 - 64 bit
Dmxis version 1.7.0 works fine and interfaces with my lights properly.
I've read a few forum posts here, seems like there may be a Windows patch that caused a problem, and a newer or beta version of showbuddy may be a fix. Please note - I have never gotten the software to install or run, this is my initial installation of this software

So I tried to dig for some log files, but the installer location ( C:\Program Files (x86)\db-audioware\Show Buddy (full version) ) doesn't seem to have any log files from what I can find, nothing hidden either.
I'm not sure what to do, I've done clean installs of both pieces of software in every order I can think of, but it still is not working. Any insight would be helpful, thanks!

I have the 1.7.1 beta and my system is acting very weird with it lately. I think I'd like to revert back to an older version (1.7.0) but every time I try to do so I get this exact message! Please Help!!
