Just a small thing ... I created a show under Win-7/64 and moved it to my Win-7/32 "driver" system. The fixtures disappeared from the show.
I saw that the dmxconfig.xml file contained references to "Program Files (x86)"; that directory of course does not exist in a 32-bit system. Editing out the " (x86)" repaired the problem.
So you might add a bit of compatibility code to allow going back and forth between systems (dynamically try the other directory). This might also be an issue when someone tries to move to a new Win-8 system ... which are largely 64-bit now.
