DMXIS Platinum 2.0.10 available for download

Post by Dave Brown [admin] »

DMXIS Platinum 2.0.10 is now available for download. Just start up the Platinum app with a live Internet connection - it will automatically detect the new release and take you to a unique download page.

Installation

This new release is recommended for all customers. No specific preparation is required, the 2.0.10 installer will automatically overwrite any old release. No show data is modified by this release. Your license also remains intact.

However, as with all software upgrades, PLEASE BACKUP YOUR IMPORTANT DATA BEFORE PROCEEDING. Sorry for shouting, but you know backups make sense :-)

Features added
  • Save current preset from keyboard with Ctrl-S
  • Save a new preset from keyboard with Ctrl-N
  • Improved visualiser compatibility with older RGB fixture definition files.
Issues fixed
  • Fixed issue with preset list – preset was deselected following a save.
  • Fixed Hide unused button – was not working following a show load, or after fixtures were deleted.
  • Art-Net output was not updating correctly when deleting entries in the Universes window.

And... Functions like Preset up and preset down are showing up on the Mac Touch Bar. So I can actually scroll through presets and banks while being on the Controls page. This is getting very interesting.

Audio In selection in Ableton

Post by Studio-412 »

I choose my audio in source (Main L/R) from the DMXIS Platinum app. When I open the plugin inside of Ableton, it doesn't seem to be responding to the audio in source. Also, I can't confirm the audio in source from the plugin window - is there a way to do that? '

Multiple audio in options would be AMAZING! Have each musician's lights respond to the volume of their audio bus (drums, guitar, lead, vocals, keys, etc).

Love the new save shortcuts! thanks!

Preset Name Change disconnects shortcuts

If you change the name of a preset, you will lose the link to the shortcut in the bottom half of the screen.

If I change the midiout device, the application crashes unfortunately.

I didn't do anything. It just showed up on the Touch Bar. I tried to upload a pic but the site wouldn't let me.

Command C is copy
Command S is save

Control is a completely different key on a Mac
