Dave-
SUPER AWESOME.

Let me know if you need beta testing. I have a pretty extensive rig and can test on Mac, Ableton, Logic, etc.

It already does :)

The video shows a universe of DMX driving spots & floods, a universe of wireless Art-Net driving 160 RGB pixels, and a VGA connection sending animations to a long throw projector at full resolution. All synchronised within Logic Pro.

Hello,
I already use DMXIS and showbuddy, I use to trigger scenes by hitting a yamaha multipad interfaced via MIDI with a pc and Midiox software.
What are the advantages of this new software? Can it replace dmxis and showbuddy?
thanks a lot.

This new product is a supercharged upgrade to DMXIS. It doesn't replace Show Buddy, but all the new features will be fully available within Show Buddy.

Yup :)

The visualiser is a core part of our new FX engine, which lets you draw washes, chases, and complex animations directly on the screen.

Very exciting indeed. Will the software be released in beta to the forum to iron things out or is it stable enough to go straight out?

Cheers

Looks great! Been hoping to have an update to DMXIS that will address some interface wish-list issues. Looks like this one will have it covered.

it would really be helpful if people would read the thread before posting questions. This was asked and answered only a few short posts earlier.

Yea sorry about that, I hadn't spotted that we were on a second page of replies so I'd only read the first one. Thanks for the response though. Really interested in this.

Just returned from holiday, and I'm back in the office for the final charge towards the DMXIS Platinum finish line! Assuming all goes to plan, I'm aiming for a public release around September. I'll roll out more details on the feature set soon.

One thing I want to clarify. This new product won't replace DMXIS or D-Pro. Both of those products still make sense for many people. If you only have a few RGB spots, DMXIS is great. If you want hands-on control in a small theatre, D-Pro is great.

This a supercharged DMXIS, for performers & DJs who want more features - 2D visualiser, multiple universes, Art-Net, advanced pixel mapped visual FX, plus tempo-synced FX output for projectors.

My #1 wish for a new DMXis product would be to not make the hardware unit taller then a regular 1U 19" rack device. That way the unit would fit into a regular 1U rack space instead of requiring a 2U space.

I do tour with the DMXis and my band.

This thread is about a new software product, but I can certainly pass your thoughts onto Enttec.

My apologies if this is clarified somewhere else, but I was just wondering if the new program will support imported .mp4 files for the tempo synced projector output? Thanks, and sorry to delay the process with questions!
