Problem with sound activation in ShowBuddy

I have a preset which is sound activated by the guitar sound heard by the laptop microphone, it works really well in Dmxis.
Now I want to do that in ShowBuddy, I created an empty track with that preset but it doesn't react to the sound, no matter how I set the Preferences.
Is there something else I should do?

In Show Buddy, the DMXIS Sound Tracker listens to the backing track. You can't trigger the Sound Tracker from another source like the laptop microphone.
