video clips with MIDI messages
Can anyone instruct me on how to play video clips with MIDI messages in show buddy?

I've replied to you directly on this, but for anyone else interested...
Any video player that supports triggering of clips via MIDI note or CC can be controlled from Show Buddy. Resolume and Arkaos are two popular options. Other cheaper alternatives such as AVMixer Pro are available, but I've never personally tried these. I have had a surprising amount of success with TouchVIZ, an iPad video player from the authors of TouchOSC.
If you should have problems trigger videos from Show Cuddy, try first triggering directly from a MIDI keyboard. Once that is working reliably, it's just a case of making sure that Show Buddy is transmitting exactly the same MIDI data. You can do this using a MIDI utility such as MIDI Monitor for OS X, or MIDI-OX on Windows.
