I know that this forum seems to be inactive, but I'm hoping someone can help.
I'm doing a small production for a tiny local school, and I need to reuse some cues, but over the top of an existing cue.
As an example - I have a basic lighting set up for a scene, but within it I have four or five different cues to highlight different areas of the stage.
So, what I want to do in the cuelist is have a cue called "background", for instance, which is faded in on a trigger (spacebar).
After a while I want to add a spotlight which fades in over time on a trigger, then fades out - the background lighting is still active.
This has to be repeated several times, and then the last spotlight and the background fade out on a trigger.
I've been using D-Pro for some time, and no problems with spacebar triggers and fade-ins and fade-outs, but having another set of cues triggered while one remains active is eluding me.
Thanks
Superimposing cues in a cuelist
Re: Superimposing cues in a cuelist
I think you need 4 presets:
1 - background up
2 - spot on (masked so only the spot channel(s) is/are affected - that's the key bit)
3 - spot off (masked as 2)
4 - all off
