Hi Everyone!
I want adding lights to our show. I do not know ANYTHING about lights, and I am generally not the best with softwares and what not.
After watching a few videos, I bought what I thought I would need: ENTTEC OPEN DMX USB. ( since I am just trying this whole thing out, I wanted to keep it within a low budget. ) I got the cables to go from the open dmx usb to the SLIM PAR 64 RGBA and I also got Bar light.
Right now I am just trying with the slim par 64.
I am looking for a software that I can use with tracks. DMXIS seemed to be ideal but it is not available anymore. I got the demo version of show buddy active but I don't see the open dmx on there so I don't understand how to control the light from that. I tried EMU as suggested by ENTTEC and it doesn't recognize OPEN DMX on a Mac?!!! So before installing a bunch of softwares, I was hoping that someone would be kind enough to guide me in the right direction.
I have a Mac OS catalina 10.15.1 .
I am looking for the easiest software to use with tracks.
