Defeating active presets when switching to a new preset
If I have one or more presets active in D-Pro, is it possible to turn off any active presets when I switch to a new preset?

By presets, do you mean cues?
If you are using Show Controller to switch between cues, then you can set multiple cues to be in the same Radio Group.
This way, you will switch from one unique cue to another unique cue, without 'mixing' the DMX information from the previous cue and the new cue.
