Multoplevmidi controllers

Hi all. I use dmxis as standalone with a novation launch control xl for control. I like this midi as it has fader, button and knob control. I'd really like a second one to expand the manual control of dmxis but will the program respond to 2 of the same controllers programmed differently ie fader 1 on both would control a different set of channels in dmxis. You probably need to configure the second controller to transmit on a different MIDI channel. You may be able to do this with the Novation template editor?
