NEW TO DMXIS

Hi

I'm new to this so its an easy question, from withing CUBASE 5, how do i setup DMXIS so i can program my lights? is it also possible to use midi keyboard and record live the light positions? in otherwords, assign certain notes for the RGB

Hi,

yes your post is visible. I don't use DMXIS as a VST so can't help. Guessing there may not be a lot of Cubase users here using the VST version either.

Wish I could provide more info, but figured I'd reply just so you know there are other people active on the forum.

If you need a way to do backing tracks than Show Buddy is a good alternative.

Otherwise I don't really have any recommendations as I don't use the VST version of DMXIS.

I cant load each song and muck with laptop im a pro singer that performs so i need my full set played straight through

I also run the DMXIS stand alone application, so I can't directly help much with the VST plugin.

There are some good videos out there that talk about using DMXIS as a VST plugin. THIS LINK isn't specifically for Cubase, but the principles might be applicable.
