Show Buddy Active Freezing

My app keeps crashing in standalone mode. I'm receiving MIDI triggers for scenes from my Network MIDI between my two computers. Most updated version of OSX as well as Show Buddy Active (any date on the next release?)

Can I send you a crash log somehow? Is anyone else having crashing issues?

You can get to the crash report via 'User Reports' in the 'Console' app. Send it to support@db-audioware.com and I'll take a look.

Just Crashed again. I looked for the crash file, but there is nothing there. Any ideas on what I can try?

I'm not trying to be annoying, I simply want to document crashes in the hopes that it will lead us to an answer.

It crashed again. No logs.

You say it's crashing, but your email suggests the software is freezing?

If it's freezing, there will unfortunately be no crash log. I'm trying to recreate the scenario here on a test Mac.

I apologize. I was using the wrong term. You are right. It's freezing.

I'd be happy to screen share to help troubleshoot, but sometimes it takes 10/20 minutes to happen.

I have a rehearsal in 2 hours that we'll be using it for.

Do your presets contain video clips?

I trigger my lights using the video window but I’m displaying boxes of color over top of the light fixtures to change the color. I also mirror those boxes on projectors with my second display.

But they aren’t videos per-se.

Stress tests here with the same setup don't reveal any lockups. Since you're seeing them regularly, there's a good chance it is related to your fixture setup or show design.

If you zip up this folder and send it to me, I'll run some stress tests with your actual data...

/Library/Application Support/db audioware/Show Buddy Active

We had a rehearsal tonight and we tried a different computer for the Show Buddy Active and it didn't crash at all.

I'll steal the library files from the laptop and move it to my desktop and see if that helps. I'll send you the zip of that machine's files as well.

Thank you!
