Forward/Backward

Post by joebataz »

I can get chases working in only one direction. Used to be able to change numbers to get it going the other way but it's not working.

Setup an oscillator across 8 spots, type = square, amount = 100%, offset = 1, speed = 1/2,shape = 25%. Looking at offsets;
spot 1 = 0.0, spot 2 = 0.12, spot 3 = 0.25, spot 4 = 0.38, spot 5 = 0.50, spot 6 = 0.62, spot 7 = 0.75, spot 8 = 0.88

I used to be able to setup a second chase and manually change the offsets to;
spot 1 = 0.88, spot 2 = 0.75, spot 3 = 0.62, spot 4 = 0.50, spot 5 = 0.38, spot 6 = 0.25, spot 7 = 0.12, spot 8 = 0.0

Doesn't work!! Why not? If not is there a way to reverse the chase? I tried negative numbers but all I get is 0.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Hey Joe,
I'm not sure if it's just me - but once you set up the chase, hit save, change to a different preset, then back to the one you just made.
This can often sync everything up together.

What you are doing should work, I have chases going both ways.
