Programming lights in Logic like you do in Ableton

Post by Nonstopwolf14 »

Hi there all, so recently I found out I'm having to switch from ableton to Logic in terms of light programming. In ableton, I've been using the method where I assign faders inside the DMXIS vst to macros in ableton, allowing me to set automation lanes and run lights like that. So far having looked into how things are done on logic, I can see that I have to create scenes within the vst to be triggered by midi notes.

Is there anyway to do the ableton style programming within logic? I'm a very visual person so it's been great for me to visually see what I've programmed in terms of automation lanes as opposed to just seeing midi notes to trigger scenes.

Thanks in advance... :) :) :)
