DMXIS Hardware question

Post by oboogie »

I purchased Showbuddy Setlist and the DMXIS Software/Hardware package. My Hardware controller was stolen at a show, so now I have a fully programmed archive of 180 songs with DMXIS lighting cues but no way to trigger the lights.

Is there a way to purchase JUST the hardware module OR will other hardware modules from Enttec work if I were to purchase them as an interface?

I'm kind of stuck. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Interested as well, actually for a backup, but I just noticed it's out of stock on enttec.com and Sweetwater shows discontinued.

Will DMXIS / Showbuddy interface with other USB to DMX interface devices or is there a new hardware device in the works?

https://www.enttec.com/product/controls ... are/dmxis/

I'd assume if Midi control isn't necessary the Open DMX USB may work? Although the Recommended / Compatible apps don't list DMXIS / Showbuddy.

It would be smashing if we could purchase DMXIS software independently from the out-of-stock-everywhere hardware.
Should I open a ticket regarding this, or how do we reach the product owner?

It's on their website, bottom of the page, I'll be e-mailing them as well

EDIT:
I stand corrected, https://www.dmxis.com/about/ Enttec is a distributor

I will personally continue to support the DMXIS software with critical bug fixes where necessary. But DMXIS is unlikely to become a software-only product, nor support additional hardware interfaces.

My focus is now on enhancing Show Buddy Active (lighting & video control) and Show Buddy (show automation).

Any questions regarding DMXIS hardware availability, spares, repairs or other hardware support issues should be directed towards ENTTEC.

I'm excited!
DMXIS since 2015, Show Buddy Active since 9/2019.

Thank you David! I've been using DMXIS / Showbuddy for a few years now and excited to see what's next! As long as interfacing works with new / different hardware things are looking good!
