Create a preset with multiple changes to individual channel of a fixture

Post by spivey »

Hi, I have a scanner that I'd like to pan across, stop part way and tilt up and down,
resume panning across, stop part way and tilt up and down, resume panning and stop.
Then repeat the movement in reverse while changing colors. How would this be
accomplished in DMXIS? Thanks.

Unfortunately, this isn't something DMXIS can do within one preset. This would take a series of presets to accomplish.
I've been hoping to get this feature for quite some time. I added it to the Show Buddy Active Wish List a while ago.

A simple controller like the Chauvet Obey 70 can do this. You can create scenes, then link them together into a chase.

Thanks RichG. I figured as much. I was hoping I was overlooking something.

This is why we require assignable preset-loops or, preferably, a series of definable preset loops within a bank :)
