Before I decide to install, anybody know what has been changed since v1.6.3?

1.6.8 - New Features
  • Added automatic unlocking of software (Internet connection required).
  • clicking on a selected channel will now deselect it.
  • Holding Alt whilst adjusting Chase knob overrides the default chase behaviour and sets all channels to the same phase value. This is useful for setting up complex chases across multiple groups of fixtures.
  • Added MIDI control of cross-fade time (via MIDI CC 112).
  • Reduced the size of preset files. This improves loading times and reduces memory consumption when you have a large number of presets in a show. Also improves responsiveness when switching between presets,
  • Macro output window is now resizeable.
  • Improved mouse scroll wheel behaviour for adjusting channel levels.
1.6.8 - Issues Fixed
  • Fixed MIDI remote control of buttons (via MIDI Learn) on Windows.
  • Improved reliability of DMXIS hardware detection.
  • Fixed intermittent sorting bug in bank & preset lists.
  • Fixed sort order of fixtures and macros popup menus.
  • Faders will not accidentally move whilst selecting multiple channels.
  • Fixed intermittent audio glitches within certain VST/AU host programs when loading presets.
  • Fixed hardware issue when multiple ENTTEC boxes are connected simultaneously. (DMXIS was preventing other programs from connecting to a non-DMXIS box)
  • Fixed hardware connection issue when a non-ENTTEC FTDI device is also connected to the computer.
  • Fixed intermittent crash on exit (macOS)

fwiw, I'm using it 1.6.8 (on Windows 10 - 64 bit) and it works great.

The ability to De-Select is a HUGE help for a fumble fingered mouse user like me.
Thank you!

Beta DMXIS 1.6.9 is now vailable:
This is identical to the 1.6.8 beta, with one bugfix - masked presets were not loading properly.

Also improves responsiveness when switching between presets, Nice! Are the preset files automatically converted to the smaller size, or do we need to resave the preset?
  • Macro output window is now resizeable. Awesome!
  • Improved mouse scroll wheel behaviour for adjusting channel levels. Excellent!
