Trigger light on/off from audio signal

Hi there!
I would like the light's ON/OFF switch to be triggered from audio signal ON/OFF.
So If there is an audio signal, lights turn off and if no audio signal = lights turn off.
I'm initially looking for a Gate audio pluggin (via a DAW like Protools, Logic Pro or Pyramix, so the threshold of the gate would send a midi info).
I'm seeing that the DMXIS comes with something already setup like this, have any of you tried what I'm looking for out ?
