Is there a way to view what I'm doing in DMXIS software if i don't have my lights with me or hooked up? is there a program that will let me see the animation of the lighting and not just faders moving about?

Visual representation??
Re: Visual representation??
Hi Trent,
Without an external visualiser, no. Have you seen the new DMXIS Platinum release?

One of the many advantages of Platinum is the 2D visualiser.
Cheers

For your entertainment, some wiggly visuals from DMXIS Platinum

Alternatively, you can visualise your DMXIS output by connecting the DMXIS box XLR out to another box (e.g. a DMX USB PRO from Enttec) and use that to feed any 3rd party 3D visualiser like Capture Argo.

That’s awesome because I HAVE that box!!! This leads me to another question though: can I do the same stuff with that box that DMXIS box can? It seems DMXIS and it’s software are way more user friendly. I got the DMX USB pro box and had no idea what to do with it. Not much online about using it. The DMXIS box I have is my guitar players and that band won’t be together much longer, so no user friendly awesome DMX fun box for me very soon.Dave Brown [admin] wrote: ↑Thu Nov 15, 2018 7:56 pm For your entertainment, some wiggly visuals from DMXIS Platinum
