XY Controller

Hi all,

I'm trying to use the xy controller with a pair of Chauvet Intimidator 155 lights. I downloaded the fixture from Chauvet and installed it. Everything seems to be working, except the xy. I DLed and tried the fixture from the DMXIS fixture site, but it doesn't work with the xy controller either.

Any help is certainly appreciated. Loving DMXIS!!

The names of the channels (in the fixture definition file) need to be "Pan" and "Tilt" in order for the XY controller to work.

Thanks Dave. That's the conclusion I came to after reading another post here.

Next question: How do I edit someone elses fixture? Is that possible? If so, can I leave a space after, like this? Pan 1 Reason I ask is I have Chauvet Spot Duo 155s. Just make it easier to keep track of which light I'm on.

Sorry, no - the current release of DMXIS looks for an exact match - it has to be "Pan" and "Tilt" if you want to use the XY pad.

Hey Dave. I found a fixture profile that has just Pan and Tilt. Working now. Thank you for all the help. Much Appreciated!

Taking me awhile to wrap my head around it, but I'm loving DMXIS!!
