I don't own DMXIS yet, but it will be purchased within a week or so.
I understand enough about MIDI to get going. I also see that you can assign scenes to various pedals. Can you also set each pedal to trigger different chases? And can you set each chase at a different speed, on the comp, of course.
If I have a foot controller with 10 pedals on it, could it be set up as follows...

8 Blizzard 3NX
4 Chauvet Intimidator 1.0
6 Chauvet LED Pinspot 360

Pedal 1: slow chase, blizzard 3NX typical background washes
Pedal 2: quicker chase, Pinspot accents
Pedal 3: slow chase 3NX's with intimidator highlights
Pedals 4 - 7: more misc scenes/chases
Pedal 8, 9: quicker chases, end of song big finish blowouts, lots of action everything going crazy
Pedal 10: momentary setup, press it and it's everything lit, (scene so no movement) then blackout when released
Does that sound feasible? I have an Obey70 controller currently, mainly just getting my feet wet. I'm really liking what I'm seeing with DMXIS. The foot controller would be for my band, when we have no light man to run things, and then iPad control for when we DO have a lampie around, or when I'm providing sound & lights for others.
