Presets with oscillators cannot be overridden

The stand alone version of DMXIS works completely fine, however when an instance is opened in Show Buddy, the presets don't seem to work properly. Solid presets act like they should (red fade to black), but presets with oscillators don't change back. If a preset has a square oscillation between different colors and I clear/override it the oscillator continues to run over the desired preset. Even when I click a blackout preset, the same oscillation happens. I cannot stop it until both Show Buddy and DMXIS are closed.

Things I've tried:

1. Re-Install both programs
2. Ensure I'm using DMX cables and not XLR cables
3. Install older version of DMXIS
4. Ensure the proper output device is selected in preferences
5. Change the USB port that DMXIS is plugged in to.

If anyone could help with the situation I'd really appreciate it!

Are you using Windows 10? If so, it might be that you are creating your presets in DMXIS 1.7.2, but Show Buddy is still loading DMXIS 1.6.3. Try the following:

• Download the DMXIS 1.7.2 32-bit release.
• Run the DMXIS installer, remembering to install the VST plugin when prompted.
• Locate the new 1.7.2 VST plugin file ('DMXIS.dll') and copy it into your Show Buddy install folder, overwriting the existing file: C:\Program Files (x86)\db-audioware\Show Buddy (full version)
