DMXIS Version inside Show Buddy Setlist?

DMXIS Version inside Show Buddy Setlist?

Does Show Buddy Setlist take advantage of the latest installed version of the DMXIS software, or does it only use the old 1.6.3 version, without all the fixes and upgrades?

The Mac version of Show Buddy always uses the latest installed version of DMXIS.

Show Buddy for Windows loads its own local copy of the DMXIS VST plugin. By default (assuming you have Show Buddy 1.6.2 or better) this will be DMXIS 1.6.3.

You can force Show Buddy to use the new DMXIS 1.7.2 release as follows:
  • Download the DMXIS 1.7.2 32-bit release.
  • Run the DMXIS installer, remembering to install the VST plugin when prompted.
  • Locate the new 1.7.2 VST plugin file ('DMXIS.dll') and copy it into your Show Buddy install folder, overwriting the existing file: C:\Program Files (x86)\db-audioware\Show Buddy (full version)
