Hello,
I'm moving away from DasLight 4 as the software is not user-friendly and I'm wasting too much time trying to learn it.
My previous band used to use DMXis but my bass player handled all the lightings.
here are some questions:
- Can I use my Daslight 4 DVC Fun Controller with DMXIS? https://www.daslight.com/en/hardware.htm
- I want to run my lights with backing tracks on my MacBook with Logic Pro
Do I need DMXIS, Show Buddy and Show Buddy Active or just ShowBuddy Active. ( I get confused with the products)
Thanks!

1. DMXIS is a stand-alone DMX software/hardware solution. You cannot use your Daslight 4 DVC controllerpjdisharoon wrote: ↑Sat Jun 05, 2021 11:31 pm Hello,

2. Show Buddy Active is the advanced version of DMXIS (it used to be called dmxis platinum). It is a software solution and you may be able to use the Daslight 4 DVC Controller, but its not guaranteed
3. Show Buddy works with DMXIS or Show Buddy Active. It is effectively a backing track solution that allows lighting queue's to be mapped to various sections of a song.

One last question, what if my Lixida moving heads lights are not under the device list on DMXIS?

You can create your own fixture profiles with the fixture editor: http://fixtures.dmxis.compjdisharoon wrote: ↑Wed Jun 09, 2021 12:50 am awesome. thanks!

Somebody may have already created a fixture file for your light, but if not its pretty easy to create a new one.
