I'm new to the forum, but been using SB for some time.
I presently use SB for backing tracks for cover band, and I use a footswitch to start each track. The tracks are queued up in the setlist/Show.
I would like to explore using midi chunks embedded into my tracks so that as a track is loaded, the midi chunk sets my SPD-SX to the correct 'kit' for that song. Indeed, by linking midi-thru from my SPD-SX to my Roland TD20 module, I can possibly also have my drum kit selection automated as well. Some songs use slightly different drum 'kits' on the roland module, and many songs have there own specifc samples that are set up on the SPD-SX. So, in short, I would like ShowBuddy to change my Drum Module and my SPD-SX sample pad automatically at the start of a song, and then revert to a 'standard kit' at the end of the song.
Any guidance or comments will be valued.
