Still having sound issue.
Sound works fine in DMXIS. Get very good audio levels picked up by the audio controls for the channel. DMXIS 1.5.6
Show Buddy 1.5.3 get the same sound levels but NOTHING gets to the channel.
Help PLEASE!!
Waiting for an answer since May.
Thanks,

Re: Still no answer to sound issue?????
Are you referring to sound from a mic input being used to control the DMXIS Sound Tracker? In Show Buddy, the backing track audio drives the DMXIS Sound Tracker. The mic input is ignored.

Re: Still no answer to sound issue?????
Dave,
Thanks for the response.
No, I am internally running the sound thru the system. I have an external DSP device which supplies me with 14 channels of Core Audio. 2 of those channels are setup for Return where the default output of the hardware is sent. Both SB and DMXIS show signal coming into the preferences panel (Audio/MIDI Test meter) at a minimum of 3 bars. In DMXIS I can send that signal to any channel. In SB it's dead.
Thanks,
Joe B

Re: Still no answer to sound issue?????
Yeah, that's expected behaviour. In Show Buddy, the DMXIS sound tracker listens to your backing tracks. Other audio inputs are ignored.
If you can explain exaclty what you're trying to achieve, I can look at updating Show Buddy to accomodate.

Re: Still no answer to sound issue?????
I'd like to setup a preset that will send a guitar solo (mid and hi is what I use in DMXIS) to change the X & Y axis of a laser. It looks really great in DMXIS but I lose all the lighting cues that do the "background" lighting. Make sense??
Thanks,
Joe B

Dave,
I'm confused here! I didn't realize you could edit presets and save them while they were grayed out, as in while the audio is playing!
DUH!!
Don't do anything yet!
Thanks,
Joe B
