I'm new to lighting system software and was hoping to find a good tutorial to teach me what a cue and palette are and what makes them different. I've played around with both in D-Pro but frankly, I can't see what the difference is yet and how I should be utilizing them (other than adding cues to a cue list).
I would appreciate a recommendation for a good newbie tutorial. The D-Pro manual, while good at introducing D-Pro, doesn't help me to understand how to go about creating a full on light show.

http://www.enttec.com/?main_menu=Products&pn=70571 The creating Chases video has some palette usage tips in it. That starts at about 5:15.

Re: Programming tutorial recommendation
Hey there,
I don't have much knowledge of many programming languages, but I have an excellent command on python. So I would recommend you to python tutorial because I love python and I can do most of the things by python. And now I'm building a site. So I think the python tutorial is the best. Hope it would help.
Thanks!
