Bome, Apc40MKII and APC Mini

Post by Tat2sailor »

Hello,
Looking for help with programing APC devices through Bome Translator on D-pro.
New to Bome and Midi Triggers. Would like to use both Mini and APC40MKII at the same time. I know it is possible but, looking for anyone that has experience with Bome. Trying to self educate. Will go forward and learn while waiting for assistance. Thanks in advance! Tat

I think you can also simply do that with MidiOX (which is for free) and an LoopBeOne free Edition (which is a virtual Midi Device).
So your one APC (and only one!) is the input and the virtual device is the output. Within MidiOX you can simply create a data mapping (Options -> Data Mapping). Click on insert and only att "when input matches" -> Channel 01
And "Set Output" to Channel 02. insert that and click the "Turn Map on after ok". Hit ok and it will map everything from that selected APC to Channel 02.

Hope you understand that short instruction.

Thank you, I have since switched to only apc mini. Debating a second mini, which I know there is a workaround with Bome!
