Is there any way of mapping external controls, eg MIDI, to programmer functions?
For example, can I control Pan and Tilt from an external MIDI source?

As far as I'm aware, there's no way to access Programmer via MIDI - just Show Control. If you want it for programming, really no option for that.
But, it might be possible to control pan/tilt from MIDI during a show in a couple of different ways. Maybe the "Override Behavior" on page 42 of the manual? I've never tried that, but it's possible. Or, there's the "Remote Control" tab in Preferences, that lets you use a MIDI channel to control any parameter - page 30.
