In the above example, the cuelist will advance to the next cue every time you press the spacebar. Just load it onto a key or slider in the Show Control.

Yes, you can. Page 9 of the user manual tells you how to start/stop playback from a footswitch connected to the DMXIS hardware. (The manual is available via the 'Help' menu in Show Buddy) You can also start/stop playback from any connected MIDI controller, see File > Preferences > General tab > MIDI...

then something particulary bad has happened on your computer and you should fully reinstall DMXIS, as other elements such as the Macros folder might also be damaged/missing.
