Best as I can tell from searching the internet, max DMX refresh rate is 44hz, but many physical devices run at around half that rate.

So your likely to see timing issues with anything faster than 25-30hz (or about 30-35ms)

Theoretical maximum is 0.02272727 seconds (23ms)

The DMX protocol cannot respond to events that quickly. Its not designed for that kind of instantaneous feedback.

Unless my math is wrong, a 32nd note at 93 beats per minute is (60secs / 93) / 32 = approx 20ms

60 sec / 93 = .64 seconds

.64 seconds / 32 = .02 seconds (or 20ms)

yes. It has to be activated on each computer it will run on. You can't run it on more than one computer at a time because the DMXIS box has to be connected to the computer running the software. The software will run in demo mode when the box is not attached.

Squarp Pyramid --[USB]--> BomeBox --[Ethernet]--> Laptop running DMXIS

There has to be something else running on the laptop to receive the MIDI over Ethernet data. How are you getting that information into DMXIS?
