I've noticed the same thing. Running the 1.4.3 with windows 7. I'm also losing some of the scenes that I create because of the error message that you've mentioned above.

Ok! So, with version 1.3.0.514 and Showbuddy I was experiencing problems. When I uninstalled Showbuddy and installed 1.4.1, footswitch is working properly! Thanks Dave. Looking forward to the new Showbuddy release that goes with 1.4.1.

Ok so I downloaded the latest 1.4.1 and hooked everything up. Unfortunately, the footswitch doesn't work at all now. The presets are not changing upon pressing the pedal. The green light on the box lights up each time I press the switch, though.

Excellent! I'll give it a go. Where is the download? I tried http://www.dmxis.com/downloads/ but it was still showing the beta.

Hi Dave-thanks for looking at this. Unfortunately, I tried 1.4.0 and it also had the same issues.

Thanks for that thought Rob. I went back and looked at the fade to next settings and they're all at 0. Dave and I worked on this problem several years ago for an earlier release 1.1.2 but it seems like it is now back.
