Chasing Groups

Hi all-I'm hoping that the collective wisdom of this group may help me get past a "mind block" that I'm having. The Set Up: I have 8 LED par fixtures as backlighting. I have 6 LED par cans as front lighting. All of these fixtures have the ability to adjust the RGB settings and have a maste...

Re: Show Buddy 1.6.1 available for download

Hi Dave-same here. I tried to update from 1.5.3 and received the same "you already are running the most up to date version" message on my PC. Thanks in advance for looking into this!

Re: Occilator Issue in DMXIS 1.5.6

Tried to do a jing video of the steps I'm using but for some reason it's not allowing me to use the "Ctrl" button while I'm in the video mode...so I can't select the appropriate faders and show you what I'm doing. However, Madazza is right-I'm selecting individual channels... I will tell y...

Occilator Issue in DMXIS 1.5.6

Howdy all. I'm trying to do a classic rock look where two groups of LED pars are rocking between, say, red and yellow. While one color is lit, the other color is off. I can set them up to do this, no problem. I have a sine wave start for one set of lights, then start the occillator a little later fo...

Position Pallettes?

Hi there. Looking for a few thoughts on preset position pallettes. Is it possible to create a set of "flexible" position pallettes? ie. A mover pointing to downstage center for one show needs to be focused in a slightly different downstage center position at a second venue. I'm looking to ...

Re: Fixture not correct when imported into DMXIS

Thanks Jeremy and Outlaw. That seems to have cleared up some things. However, I have another pesky fixture titled "Chauvet Color Dash Batten 10 Channel" - seems there are now EXTRA channels showing up. It's public. Mind having a look? thanks gang.

Fixture not correct when imported into DMXIS

Hi all. I used the online fixture editor to create a 9 channel fixture. It's for a chauvet colordash par 9 channel. Channel 1-dimmer Channel 2,3,4 RGB Channel 5,6,7,8,9 i just left alone and created undefined, blank channels. (going to go back and do the editing later) When I export and then import ...

Re: 1.4.3 bug report: Preset not selected error message

Hi there Chris,
I've noticed the same thing. Running the 1.4.3 with windows 7. I'm also losing some of the scenes that I create because of the error message that you've mentioned above.

Re: Presets changing sluggishly with footswitch

Ok! So, with version 1.3.0.514 and Showbuddy I was experiencing problems. When I uninstalled Showbuddy and installed 1.4.1, footswitch is working properly! Thanks Dave. Looking forward to the new Showbuddy release that goes with 1.4.1.

Re: Presets changing sluggishly with footswitch

Ok so I downloaded the latest 1.4.1 and hooked everything up. Unfortunately, the footswitch doesn't work at all now. The presets are not changing upon pressing the pedal. The green light on the box lights up each time I press the switch, though.

Excellent! I'll give it a go. Where is the download? I tried http://www.dmxis.com/downloads/ but it was still showing the beta.
Thanks Dave.

Re: Presets changing sluggishly with footswitch

Thanks for that thought Rob. I went back and looked at the fade to next settings and they're all at 0. Dave and I worked on this problem several years ago for an earlier release 1.1.2 but it seems like it is now back.

Presets changing sluggishly with footswitch

Hi there, I've been using DMXIS for many years now and really enjoy it. Thanks much to Dave et. al who have made this product! However, I've been frustrated with trying to get my Boss FS-6 footswitch to move through my presets successfully. Here's what is happening: when I have scenes that involve t...
