Sometimes it takes a split second. I just hit it just before I need the scene to change. It's actually handy for me because more often than not I'm turning my Fuzz pedal on or off as well lol.

Probably just need to up-date the firmware. Used to happen to me quite a bit.

Yes, Platinum has all the original DMXIS features including footswitch control from the DMXIS box. Your original shows will run without modification.

I bought a usb B to usb C cable to use with the DMXIS interface, but it works just as well with one of the USB A to C adapters and then a standard A to B cable.
