SBS and SBA both running very clunky on Macbook M1
Showbuddy advance and setlist are both being really jerky and slow to respond on my new Macbook pro M1. Are there some settings I need to mess with to get them running smooth? Is there something I'm missing. I've tried reinstalling the most recent releases of both and they aren't loving the new hard...

Re: Is show buddy still active
For all of us in the music tech & entertainment industry, this is of course a stressful time. I am a one-man company, and in order to ride out the COVID storm I have had to temporarily turn to other activities, until our industry hopefully finds its feet again. I'm sure some of you have had to ...

Re: Footswitch Questions
Sometimes it takes a split second. I just hit it just before I need the scene to change. It's actually handy for me because more often than not I'm turning my Fuzz pedal on or off as well lol.

OS Catalina bug report
So I've upgraded to Catalina on the MB, haven't had any issues at all using Showbuddy Active yet after a few shows. I have noticed a problem with setlist though. When my footswitch (FS-7) was connected via the DMXIS interface I encountered an issue where tracks would frequently stop themselves as if...

That would be awesome cheers Dave. I had. Feeling it would be something I was doing wrong. I'll drop you a dropbox link to one of the videos when I get a chance, probably on Monday now.

Performance issues advice please
Hey hivemind! Having a few performance issues with showbuddy. For most of my shows I'm using SBA as a standalone (as we don't use track) but for our Bruno Mars tribute I'm using Showbuddy for track management and lighting control. Last night we also had a projector available so I had our VTs running...

Is there a setting I should be looking for to change how the movers are shown in the visualiser or is that feature coming in 2.0.12 now? Cheers Dave.

How do ypu get this to happen? it would be amazing if I could do that.theremoteguy wrote: ↑Mon Nov 12, 2018 8:34 pm And... Functions like Preset up and preset down are showing up on the Mac Touch Bar. So I can actually scroll through presets and banks while being on the Controls page. This is getting very interesting.

Cheers Dave,
I just want to say I think it's amazing that you do all this by yourself. You're a beast mate, well done.

Platinum demo crashing as soon as I try and open.
Hey guys, It was working fine about 20 minutes ago but now when I try and open the demo it closes again immediately. Using a 15" macbook pro 2017 model and the latest version of Mojave. Here's the crash report, <warning reams of text incoming> Process: DMXIS Platinum [703] Path: /Applications/D...

Re: Our next gen lighting controller. Coming soon!
Hi Dave, Still really excited for this, but I had a quick question that doesn't seem to have been asked yet (I'm really sorry if it has and I'm wasting your time going over old ground). I was just wondering if the banks/presets setup with footswitch control via the dmxis box is still going to be a t...

Re: DMXis box capabilities with new MacBook Pro's w/o USB Ports?
I bought a usb B to usb C cable to use with the DMXIS interface, but it works just as well with one of the USB A to C adapters and then a standard A to B cable.

Yes, I'm going to be "that" guy. Does it have built in viz software? it would really be helpful if people would read the thread before posting questions. This was asked and answered only a few short posts earlier. The visualiser is a core part of our new FX engine, which lets you draw was...

Macro Virgin chase help.
I'm a bass player, programming is way over my head. I was hoping there was a resource somewhere where I could download (or buy, I'm that useless), a package of macros for different colour chases. I essentially want to be able to select all the RGB channels across my fixtures and have them do the sam...

Note velocity and the FCB1010
Using the FCB1010 to control DMXIS and up until now have been using the footswitch outputs to control the next and previous preset controls. Unfortunately I find that doing this means I have to have the laptop right next to my pedal onstage due to a short lead, meaning I'm unable to use logic at the...
