Dear Ryan, thank You for your effort, but these shapes are not usable, they don't represent actual movements, unfortunately.RyanMcRobb wrote: ↑Mon Sep 25, 2023 3:07 am I mucked around in ChatGPT making Python scripts(not a programmer either)
It came up with the attached scripts.

Feature request
Hello, dear Dave and D-pro users. Unfortunately, recently I found out that ENTTEC has discontinued D-Pro support. That's very sad to me, because I have chosen it to be my main tool for controlling the lights. It still needs tweaks here and there and now I will be pointing them out. 1) It's about the...

Re: SOS, developers! @flippatspace, please contact me
I suppose, this could be achieved by adding parameter of oscillation progress for the moment when you trigger the movers cue, so you could change the position of oscillation starting point... where 0% - default position, and -100% or 100% - same position in previous/completed cycle... ?

Another thing: I've noticed that in order for cuelist not to skip and jump in time when switching from one cue to another, which is the only possible way to set cuepoints in song, the Speed has to be 120bpm (after each start of d-pro the cuelist behaves weird and skips and jumps music playback even ...

I have the same issue http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iolxM_5fQVU - there are skips in playback when cursor reaches next cue, the cursor itself does not represent actual audio timing position correctly, and there is like a second delay after I push stop and audio actually stops... Excuse me, what is your meaning of LTP? Ok, say the cue is executed, BUT as soon as next cue or palette in recorded show is triggered, that "dancers cue" will be released, no?

I'm totally agree with your point about the software prices and capabilities. Dave, why didn't you add these shapes to D-pro? Isn't it too few of them in arsenal of professional lighting control software? I don't mind having as many effects as possible

Re: MIDI Clock?
Go to Preferences > Remote Control. Click "learn new mapping". Transmit a MIDI CC to D-Pro. Choose Show Control: SET TEMPO (60-187 BPM) from the first drop-down list. Leave "Action parameter" blank. Now you can accurately set the tempo within the range 60-187 via that CC. - Yes,...

Re: Create your own D-Pro FX scripts!
I'm not a DMIXS user, so I have to ask... what are the shapes that it has that are not in D-PRO? And are they Python scripts? Those are circle, diamond, figure 8, triangle, heartbeat, square, random. Yes, they are Python scripts... I've copied them to D-pro folder/macros/shapes, the program noticed...

DMXIS has more moving shapes (7) than D-Pro, (D-pro has only 3). How Can I get more moving fx scripts? Do you have any for me, please?

this technique does not provide accurate results. I've used loopMIDI software to route signal into D-pro from ableton thru my midi keyboard, then mapped TAP TEMPO button to the note. sound tracker in DMXIS 1.4.0 beta problem
After installing this 64bit version experiencing dilemma in Ableton 9: noticed that in plugins section now appears 2 versions of it: DMXIS and DMXIS-inst. Re: D-pro & PRO Mk2 limitations
Of course you can. I use MIDI for control of all my encoders. Fades are smooth and perfect. MIDI is way more flexible than people give it credit for. Ok, I see what you mean, you generate an intense midi stream from audio signal, right? Could you please describe the way you do it in ableton? How do...

thanks for soft features explanation... now I'm seriously considering purchasing this expensive beast! 8-) You could set MIDI triggers in Ableton to match the track you want to trigger lights. Re: D-pro & PRO Mk2 limitations
Regarding audio triggering, I don't believe D-Pro handles it like you would want. However, you can drag audio tracks in to Cuelists and build the list to the waveform. Very handy. I hope enttec guys will implement it in D-pro, cause this "sound triggered" effect is imposible to "manu...
