Re: Trigger Dpro show control from an MP4

The software looks good, but too expensive. Is there a cheaper one available?

Re: Trigger Dpro show control from an MP4

Hi All,

OK, no response on the Mpeg 4 option, but is there a way to assign the DPRO cues to a music timeline. A software perhaps that works with dPRO.
Is anyone doing this?

Thank you

Trigger Dpro show control from an MP4

Hi All, I am putting on 'The greatest Showman Cinema Experience' showing the film on big screen, but also adding lighting choreography and live dance/effects to the songs to give it an immersive wow factor. Currently I am creating two or three different layers of lights (3 separate cue lists in show...

Re: Show Control - slow loading and 'not responding'

That is a good way of doing it thank you. I did delete everything but still have a back up of all the songs/shows so if need be I can back to the earlier version. Thank you for all your comments and advice. It has been very informative and helpful

Re: Show Control - slow loading and 'not responding'

Hi Dave,
Makes sense.
I have been keeping two or three songs on each tab and as songs list increases adding more tabs.
Is it possible to delete the whole tab or do i have to delete each cue and then reduce number of tabs
Thank you

Re: Show Control - slow loading and 'not responding'

OK, thank you for the quick replies My laptop does have SSD, though only in the last six months as my hard drive failed, but I take your point regarding complex shows. Every light show / gig I have programmed for are still kept on tabs in show control, so I assume all of these are being loaded each ...

Show Control - slow loading and 'not responding'

Hi All, Does anyone else have to wait for a few minutes before the show control window shows? Once the button is selected I just see a black box at the bottom of the screen and then 'not responding' message. After a few minutes it opens and works fine, although sometimes a touch button I have turned...

Reinstallation of Dpro - no option for licence code

Hi All,
My Dell hard disc failed and I have to reinstall the Dpro software from scratch. I downloaded the demo version but I do not get the option to insert my licence on this. The DMX USB PRO MK2 is connected but won't connect to the software.
Appreciate your advice.
Cheers

Copy/Paste cues into other shows

Hi All,

Can you tell me if it is possible to copy a set of cues from one show and paste into another already established show. The fixture in question are in both shows and in the same DMX address positions.
I created over 100 cues for my ADJ Tribar's, but now want to use them in another show.
Thanks

Re: Foot controller / Midi control pedal

Hi,
I'm really sorry but I can't give you any advice at all. I tried several different processes, but after weeks of trying and getting no joy I gave up with it and bought a Nano pad to operate from my mic stand. The foot pedal is in the spare room.

Hope you do get some good advice though.

Re: ADJ Tribar fixture not working

Thank you for the feedback. I use the same RGBAW and Master head for five Eurolite KLS1002 which work just fine, so knew to do this for the Tribar. However when I had set them up using that configuration they would not work, but found out that the dimmer and strobe were switching places in the set u...

Re: Foot controller / Midi control pedal

Hi again, I eventually bought a Nanopad 2 and found some time to try out midi control of the cues in show control. As you instructed for show control, I used the same midi button for each cue of one song and changed the radio channel to a unique number for every step for that one song. Basically use...

Re: D-PRO 1.3.1 TAP TEMPO & Keyboard shortcut

Hi Dave, I really appreciate your feedback and advice. Thank you. I think maybe I misunderstood how DPRO works and have not yet discovered its capabilities, though i have to say I love it. Re: D-PRO 1.3.1 TAP TEMPO & Keyboard shortcut

Sorry Dave, Just one more question. Each row is a different song and the song verses / choruses and bridges etc run across horizontally...

Hi, I am doing exactly as you say and everything is recorded in the preferences, but when I hit the space bar in show control, nothing happens. Re: Foot controller / Midi control pedal

Hi rad3d, I have had very little success with FCB 1010 so am looking at an alternative pedal now, at least for the short term. We don't have the Logidy UMI3 available in the UK and as you said the McMillan soft step is too expensive for what I want. So, is it worth me buying the Icon G-Board, and is...
