Active with showbuddy
I am currently upgrading my laptop with windows 10 so I have not been able to try the demo yet. My question is when you build a show within showbuddy can you play it and watch the visualizer within active to see your show and scene changes. I’m hoping this will be a simpler way for me to build my sh...

Re: Digital Noise when using ShowBuddy/DMXIS
Check your power source to your computer. I’ve had this happen when I used a cheap ebay power cord for my laptop. Now I only run one from the manufacturer and it plugs into my power conditioner. No issues since.

Looking for scanners upgrde
Ok I am looking to upgrade some of my scanners. Right now I am setting up two at varying distances in front of the stage depending on our venue and aim them for use as spots. I am hoping to find something that has motorized zoom features as right now what I currently use often times just flood and a...

Re: Using ShowBuddy for only part of the set
For our set lists that don't use midi backing tracks I make a blank track and name it for the song we will be playing. It only needs to be a few seconds but I prefer to make it about 2 minutes so it shows up better on my songlist timeline. I then just use a basic chase pattern on those songs but set...

Re: 2 Request for next version
I currently just drag the start and stop points of the timeline when I want to loop a section of a song. Just put that song back to back multiple times into a show. Just make sure to restore those points back when you are done.

Re: Copy & Paste Tip - Cue Shifting
Ok I just learned how to copy my show from one file to another. I used your idea of putting a cue to check my alignment and it is off a little bit. What im having trouble is finding how to shift the entire file slightly to realign the cues. Thanks for any help.

HELP! Update Issue
Help I just updated to Show Buddy 1.4.2. When I now opened Show Buddy It asked me for my product serial number. After searching old emails I found it from when I purchased it a couple years ago. Entered all the info and it is telling me the serial number is invalid. Unfortunately we have a gig in le...

Re: Audio/MIDI settings
Right-click on the DMXIS icon, choose "Run as administrator", and try changing the audio/MIDI settings again. If this works, hopefully the settings will then remain intact when you quit and run normally. That worked, Thanks again Dave. Really appreciate your help, I am really happy with t...

Audio/MIDI settings
I am trying to set up control to control my DMXIS with a midi floor controller. When I go into Audio/MIDI Settings to select my device it says "Problem Writing Preferences" I am getting this message on both the MIDI and Audio pages of the setting file. Thanks for any and all help.

DMXIS and Show-Buddy together
I am currently using Show-Buddy for all of our bands songs using backing tracks. At this time I also have it set up to send the lights into a chase mode on non backing track songs. I have set up a scene for each song that we play so it will send midi info to my guitar processor to send the correct p...
