Feature Request: Saved Colors
I would love it if there was a place to save a snapshot of a fixture setting. For a simple light fixture with RGB mixing, I'd love to be able to save the mixtures that I like best for my particular fixtures. For example, violet. Once I find find the RGB mixture that looks best on my lights I want to...

Cross Reference Needed!
So I have a show with about 40 cues and 100 cue buttons on the show control. Many cues are used more than once.
I had to change one of the cues today, and there was no way of knowing which cue buttons used that cue so I had to go through and click each one to find out!
UG.

Re: Default Fade Times in Cue Lists
This is a suitable work-around, but please add this to settings/preferences so we can have our own default fade amount.
thanks

Thank you... I figured that out, but it deletes from the end. What if I wanted to delete the third tab when I have 10 tabs?

Re: Cues assigned to Cues
Dave, Our replies crossed... I found the same solution you just offered. It works with one exception - you cannot use a color palette to build a fixture palette. Thank you! Another reason this type of show building would be really helpful is when I want to go into a theater and just plug into their ...

Re: Cues assigned to Cues
I found *kind of* a work around. I can create a palette that is specific to certain colors and certain groups. Then I can make a cue made up of one or more of these palettes. Doing this I lose the ability to use a palette which simply defines a color as the color. Again, the inability to build an el...

Cues assigned to Cues
Dave, I'm glad to see you do read these forums. I wish you would reply to my many requests. Here's one more. I wish I could make a cue that is a combination of other cues. I have lots of cues built for different areas of the stage. For example "Band" "Cabin" "Forest" bu...

Changing the fixture assignemnt for a group
Today I started on building a second show for our theatrical rock opera, Man On The Hill. ( www.manonthehill.org ) When we do a smaller theater we can't use as many fixtures and their placement on the stage is changed. Having invested 50+ hours building the initial light show for the big stage I was...

Re: D-Pro in Theatre's
Hey Ryan, We got through our weekend using D-Pro for our theatrical rock opera ( www.manonthehill.org ) and it went really well. I have a dozen posts about things I would love to see improved in the UI of the software, but as far as being reliable D-Pro worked and my lighting guy had no complaints a...

Memory leak?
After spending 4-5 hours programming in D-Pro everything starts to get really, really slow. Have to shut down and restart the program then it gets normal and fast again.

BUG: Lights stuck on
This is minor, but you might want to know about it. The reset button does not turn off all the lights if: 1. Create a cue button on the show control. 2. Have it turned on when you bring bring up the settings (click the geaer) 3. add it to a radio group 4. close down the settings 5. hit the reset but...

Editing in/hold/out on cue lists
Boy it would be so much nicer if we could edith the in, hold, and out values directly in the list rather than having to double click each value. To be able to tab and edit through all the values would be such a time saver!
Thanks.
Thanks.

Other wish list items
Here are some other things I would love to see in D-Pro. Please reply if these are already possible and I'm just being a dummy and haven't figured it out yet... 1. I wish when you clicked on any window they would all come to the front of the screen. (Z-stack) When I check my email or something while...

Please bring back the right-click
I see in the manual that you used to use a right click to bring up properties of a cue button. I'm a Windows user.... we right-click for properties all the time. It would be great if a right click would: 1. bring up the properties of the cue button on the show control screen 2. bring up the properti...

Ctrl or Shift - lets get consistant
You hold the CTRL button to make multiple selections on the fixture screen.
You hold the SHIFT button to make multiple selections on the show control screen.
Was there any reason for this? Can we make it the same in all situations?

VOTE... Panic Button Confirmation
Perhaps everyone reading this should chime in and leave their vote. I consider the red reset button on the show control window to be a PANIC button. I want to use it in a live situation when something gets stuck, something goes wrong, the lights are all messed up... whatever. I need to hit this butt...

Re: Show Control Workflow
oops, left out a step:
1. create a new cue
2. go into the edit mode of the cue by double-clicking it
3. click on a group
4. drag the palette onto the programming window
5. repeat as needed with other groups and palettes
6. save the cue
7. assign the cue to the show control button

Re: Show Control Workflow
Pretty sure the answer is no... but it takes nothing at all to create a cue that uses your groups to select the fixtures and assign your palettes... 1. create a new cue 2. click on a group 3. drag the pallette onto the programming window 4. repeat as needed 5. save the cue 6. assign the cue to the s...

Audio File Fade in/out
My biggest wish/need for D-Pro is that when an audio file is part of a cue list that it follows the fade-in or fade-out of either the lighting cues in the list or the fade-in/fade-out times assigned to the cue button that fires the cue list. Currently the audio just cuts abruptly rather than fading ...
Re: bpm
I was trying to set the bpm by doing the math and changing the duration of the hold.... I didn't want the person running the show in production to have to tap the beat during the performance. Is there any other way to do this?
bpm
The bpm does not seem particularly accurate. I made a cuelist with two cues each set with no fade in, no fade out and a half second hold time. the result is not exactly 120 bpm... any thoughts?
