Re: MIDI Device invoking preset/scene/cuelist changes
Great stuff Kevin. Bandhelper is awesome I agree. Arlo is second to none with support. BH controls ENTTEC USB Pro MKII, DMX, Voicelive Touch, Kemper, Source Audio C4, Morningstar MC8, Roland SPD-SX & TD30 to name a few. MIDI is indeed awesome. Our old keyboard player (software engineer) from man...

Re: MIDI Device invoking preset/scene/cuelist changes
Thanks Kevin. Its worth playing around with it. So you are saying that each button must have the same CC to be in a radio group? I also notice you are using Bandhelper as I do! Would it be worth copying enough cues and renaming those individually for each song? That way you can link the cue specific...

Re: MIDI Device invoking preset/scene/cuelist changes
From the manual: I might give this a try, sounds like the global all off option answer! ADDING RADIO GROUPS Sometimes you will want buttons to behave in a "radio box" manner - that is, only one button can be active at any time. For example, you might have "Red", "Yellow"...

Re: MIDI Device invoking preset/scene/cuelist changes
Just to add, what I would like to be able to do is invoke a global "off" whilst selecting a new cue/preset etc.. This way, all active cues will be switched off and a new one can be selected. If I have a global "off" on DPro, my (any) MIDI Device won't have to be cue specific to a...

MIDI Device invoking preset/scene/cuelist changes
As a live musician, I have successfully used both the Morningstar MC8 and the RJM GT/16 MIDI footswitch controllers with much success. It takes some time to configure. I personally prefer the Morningstar software GUI better than the RJM. I also use BandHelper on Android to manage my setlist and subs...

Defeating active presets when switching to a new preset
If I have one or more presets active in D-Pro, is it possible to turn off any active presets when I switch to a new preset?

Moving D-Pro to new device
Correct me If I'm wrong please.. I have D-Pro installed on my laptop which I have been running shows I've programmed using my DMX USB Pro mkII. As I understand from researching this forum, I can install D-Pro on my new device also. I dont intend on using both devices ever as the old laptop will beco...

Re: Cannot Connect to Online Library for Fixtures?
So database on ENTTEC server was corrupt. Support did respond and acknowledge the folder was exhibiting the same behaviour at their end. Hopefully it will be (or has been sorted).

Re: Cannot Connect to Online Library for Fixtures?
Okay, it turns out the specific online fixture folder i had stored my new fixture in is possibly corrupt. I did some investigating and it seems to be the only folder that exhibits my "failed to connect" issue. Every other online fixture folder apart from "CAMEO" can be accessed o...

Cannot Connect to Online Library for Fixtures?
HI, I cannot connect to the online library from within D-Pro to patch new fixtures. I have a working internet connection (I'm posting here right now), yet everytime I try to connect through D-Pro I get an "failed to connect to server" https://i.imgur.com/E557Wyk.png Can someone please tell...

Re: What MIDI foot controllers are compatible with D-Pro and MK2 USB Pro?
Well thanks for coming everyone and watching me slowly work all of this out in public. Hopefully the process may enlighten others, (or perhaps amuse them). "Override" in the configuration settings does the trick with respect to eliminating lingering strobe instructions. :D Over and out.

Re: What MIDI foot controllers are compatible with D-Pro and MK2 USB Pro?
Okay, So now I have the MC8 fully talking to the USB Pro MK2, and for what its worth, CC values need to be max (127) for a start.Sometimes I have to restart DPro to get it to want to talk with the MC8. double click the little radio button in available MIDI devices. Next hill to climb is the strobe o...

Re: What MIDI foot controllers are compatible with D-Pro and MK2 USB Pro?
Further to this the MC8 shows in the available MIDI Devices if I have both D-Pro and the MC8 connected to my laptop via USB, however the command line indicates event handler ignoring Morningstar MC8? MIDI then is also disabled. I'm guessing the MC8 isn't fully compatible with the ENTTEC software or ...

What MIDI foot controllers are compatible with D-Pro and MK2 USB Pro?
Hi all, I am trying to get my Morningstar MC8 to trigger saved cuelists in Show Control. The cuelists read and save the sent MIDI triggers i've assigned in the MC8, but when I use the footswitch to operate the cuelists in Show Control, nothing. The other issue I have is that the Morningstar MIDI dev...
