Re: First live show
hi 1st time user / and dave, i have had no problems other than those stated in my earlier post "Anomolies and suggestions", until recently... most of the shortcomings have been in the coding and the show itself runs smoothly. in my last 2 shows ( my showbuddy library is increasingly gettin...

Re: Replace a track but leave the light show
hi there, I am programming my first light shows but need to listen to the full track for cues. Is there a way to replace the track once the light show is done or copy the whole light show onto another track so that I can put the show onto the stripped down track for live playing? yes, this is easy -...

Re: How to remove a track from a show ?
it doesn't keep the order in a show when i change it.... any solution ? Your above question is a totally different issue to your original post. With regard to your original request; I also use Mountain Lion without any problems - From the SHOW LIBRARY tab, I left click the track to be deleted ( to ...

Re: Anomolies and Suggestions
hi mwd,
yeah it would help as we send the sequence to FOH and a quick tweak would allow us to balance a track that isnt quite sitting in the mix.

Anomolies and Suggestions
Hi Dave, As per your suggestion, here is a list of anomolies and possible suggestions for future releases of SHOWBUDDY: ANOMOLIES: - program freezes very occasionally ( twice I think ) - no associated error msg, but from memory was in edit mode both times coding cues. I think one of which I was copy...

Re: Renaming presets won't hold.
Hi there, Not sure the process you're using to try and do the renames - I have had similar problems when trying to use the DMXIS interface under SHOWBUDDY. I was able to circumvent this by closing down SHOWBUDDY and opening up DMXIS via the stand alone version. I was able to perform changes / rename...

Showbuddy - the best thing since sliced bread!
This is my first post on the DMXIS forums. I have used DMXIS for several years now to run my Sydney, Australia based bands' light shows. It has been very reliable and has been the backbone of over 100 shows. The GUI is intuitive and easily used while editing or playing. Recently, I had to add an ext...
