Unable to save Presets/Crashing
New here, just getting started. I have Show Buddy Active licensed, but not connected. Running on a Win 10 PC. I can set up a scene in the Controls tab, then go to performance and save the scene, but it changes every scene to the current scene. Then when I go back to the Controls tab, nothing works. ...

Re: Wireless DMX?
I do exactly what you are describing, but you would need to use a different program. I use an iPad to mix, and I aslo have an iPad mini that I use for lights. The program I use is called Luminair3, and it runs solely on an iPad. I have a router on stage, plugged in to an eDMX1 Pro dongle. I use the ...

Re: Visualizer - One CH dimmer with 4 Lights
Thanks for the reply! Yes, my entire show is mirrored, so I will only be able to display half of it in the visualizer, until the upgrades happen. I just purchased SBA yesterday so hopefully this and other upgrades will eventually come to play.

Visualizer - One CH dimmer with 4 Lights
I'm trying to create a fixture that is a single channel, but shows (4) lights on the visualizer all running together. These are my front spots. I can get it to look right but it's now using 4 channels. Is this possible? I'm using an ADJ UniPak II I've tried making a custom fixture profile, but it ju...

Wash Lights in Visualizer
How do I make the wash lights look like the picture below from the manual? The only options I can find show focused beams.

Feature Request - Copy Fixture
In the visualizer, once you get a fixture set up properly, then add a "copy" button to copy that fixture. In my case the fixture address doesn't need to change, but I'm sure that could be worked out as well.

Re: Visualizer Pan & Tilt
Currently, the visualizer only picks up Pan+Tilt channel pairs. but it would be easy to add support for a single axis of movement. Now is the time to do that I'm working on improved beam visualization for 2.0.12 anyway! What's the make & model of fixture? Yes, I've been going through the forums...

Visualizer Pan & Tilt
I have a fixture loaded the has only "tilt", as it's a moving bar beam light. The tilt motor is set to the first channel (Ch1) of the fixture and the category is set to "Pan-Tilt".
Moving the fader does not show any change to the beams. Is there a way to show the movement?

Re: Visualizer Multi Colored LED's
Make sure all your colour channels are named "Red", "Green" "Blue", "White" etc in the fixture definition, and are defined as "D" (i.e. dimmers) in the fixture file. Red D,0,255, Green D,0,255, Blue D,0,255, Or, if you're using the online editor, ma...

Re: Fixture Profiles and Visualiser Icons Explained
So, when editing a fixture in the online Fixture Editor, is it "Name" or "Short Name" that must be red/Red/R, etc? Short name. (Long name is only used in D-Pro) Also, how do I define a channel as D? I don't see a D in the Category/Subcategory drop-downs. Choose Category = Dimmer...

Channel Labels
How do I label the channel faders for various things, i.e. tilt, strobe, R B G W? I see them labeled on some of the DMXIS video's, but mine all say DIM. I've tried changing the Label & Short Label in the "channel ranges" section of the fixture editor, but those changes are never saved....

Visualizer Multi Colored LED's
I'm slowly making progress, but don't understand the visualizer. I have a light with 8 multi-colored led's (RGBW). It's a 38CH setup allowing me control over each of the 8 led's. The visualizer also displays a box for the motor, motor speed, etc, and there are 38 boxes shown. But the light only has ...

Re: Getting my fixtures to show up in Show Buddy.
I've just created a complex fixture file, and loaded it into Show Buddy Active. The fixture shows up in the visualizer, but moving the control faders don't seem to make anything happen (no lights or movement). It's a Chinese beam bar light, and I have it set up for 38 CH operation. The starting addr...

So most of my fixtures are Chinese no-name types. I never have problems setting them up with a controller or my current Luminair3. Apparently I need to use the Online Fixture editor, which requires a login. I've signed up twice with no email response. What do I have to do?

Re: Anyone use EYOURLIFE 54x3rgbw??? Channel problem!
I've purchased Chinese pars that came with a manual that was completely wrong. The fix was to go through each channel, determine what each does, then I drafted my own manual for the light. Even the led readouts were incorrect. Be sure to buy yours from the same supplier, as I've noticed that many id...
