Re: Play-Thru Glitch
I've experienced glitches using Showbuddy. Mainly sound stuttering, but only occasionally. My computer had a 1TB hard drive. I saw a read/write activity at the same time by chance. So after some info from the forum, I changed to 250 GB SSD. I'm now running SBA on Win 10 and it hasn't glitched since....

Re: Wash Lights in Visualizer
Under Beam Properties, try my values
Set beam width to 360, this is the key value
Distance to 0.1, or a low value
Direction 180
You may have a Hue option depending on your fixture
Works for me

Re: Is it possible to connect two computers?
Showbuddy and Showbuddy active shouldn't be putting significant load on your computer.
I know. But it has glitched or crashed in rehearsal. I've also upgraded to Showbuddy Active I've taken the opportunity to start again with the set list and lightshow I'm guessing that the CPU has...

I added my QFX fixture online but it isn't public
There is another there though
And I'm guessing the fixture will need tweeking
I just get one head appearing at the moment
Thanks

Re: Fixture Profiles and Visualiser Icons Explained
These simple rules will cover most popular fixtures. However, the more fiddly fixtures present a problem - not just for SBA, but for every DMX visualiser out there. I'm thinking of those 'adventurous' fixtures that try to combine a laser, two moonflowers, a toaster oven and an electric toothbrush o...

Re: Our next gen lighting controller. Coming soon!
Dave,
I'm using a Showtec QFX gig bar
I use it with DMXIS and Show Buddy as a single DMX address with 27 channels
Can the 2D visualizer be used to represent it graphically?
If not, can you reproduce it?
Thanks

Re: Our next gen lighting controller. Coming soon!
Dave,
Rather than a projector (and possibly, a screen) that you mentioned in the description,
can the HDMI port from a laptop running DMXIS and Showbuddy be connected to a large flat screen TV HDMI port for the graphics?

Midi CC question
When setting a midi chunk to control a continuous controller message, does the midi chunk just throw the set number when activated or can it be programmed to fade up and down?

Re: Copy Paste options
Yes cues highlight and move with left click and hold, fade in and out etc
Ctrl works ok in memo, copy paste using 'Ctrl c' and 'Ctrl v', so it's not disabled
Where is the onscreen keyboard?

Yes, I've tried to highlight the preset, individually and as a group I've tried ... left click to highlight>ctrl+left click and hold>drag to new position It won't work I'd like to highlight all three blinder presets at once and copy/drag to the next chorus FYI I'm using a laptop touchpad though, not...

Hi all, Newbie here, I'm finding my way around Showbuddy slowly I've created a lightshow, I'm doing a Pink Track I've timed the lights to synchronise to the 'Raise Your Glass' part in one chorus by trial and error The lights syncronise to the 'Raise' ---'Your' ---'Glass', with a blinder, you get the...
