I have installed it but it say it as no detected DMX interface so I can use it only in demo mode?!? I would like to use it few times in live gigs only as a...

Re: DMXIS and ShowBuddy with moving heads

If you want just the pan / tilt movement, then first disable all channels. Next select the faders for pan / tilt and enable them. After setting them to the value you want, click the New button to create and name the new preset. When you playback this preset, it won't affect the color, dimmer or oth...

Re: DMXIS and ShowBuddy with moving heads

Yes. Actually this is precisely the way the two programs are designed to work together. Show Buddy actually has a DMXIS window where you apply movement to your fixtures. Show Buddy gives you an easy and intuitve way to trigger your presets with a backing track, as well as an organized performance t...

Re: DMXis Macro - manage moving head targets for show

This looks very interesting!!! I'm completely new to DMXIS and ShowBuddy (I haven't start to use them infact) but one of the main problem I had in the past was the fact that club to club, venue to venue, we can't built the lighting fixtures Always in the same position and this is a big problem expec...

Re: Video Preview

I'm not familiar with the Daslight products, but if the DVC3 hardware can read a DMX signal and the 3D visualiser can display that input, then you simply need too connect the XLR output of the DMXIS hardware to the XLR input of the DVC3 hardware Do I have to use two different notebook to do this? S...

Re: Video Preview

I have read the topic you suggest me but I haven't understand how I can use an external 3D visualizer with Show Buddy or DMXIS!? I have Dashlight Virtual Controller 3 (with 3D visualizer) and the DVC3 GOLD hardware: can I use them, in some way, with Show Buddy and DMXIS?

Re: Video Preview

Sorry if it weasn't clear from the video, but Show Buddy does not include a 3D visualiser. The one I use in the video is a commercial visualiser from Capture Sweden, but DMXIS users have had some success using other visualisers as well... http://forums.dmxis.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=285 Show Bud...

Re: Feature requests

Hi Dave, fantastic software!!! Any chance to have the possibility to read BWF multitrack file? It would be, in my opinion, the ultimate feature! Multitrack file are very useful for professional backingtracks (to have separate tracks for backings, clicks, vocal cues, backing voices, percussions...to ...
